Animal Protection Standards Regulations, NLR 36/12

The Animal Protection Standards Regulations adopt a number of codes of practice for the purpose of prescribing accepted animal practices. The codes provide standards of care relating to livestock, dairy cattle, sled dogs, kennels, catteries, mink and fox ranches, research and animal testing, circuses, and pet retail stores.

The enabling statute for these Regulation is the Animal Health and Protection Act, SNL 2010, c A-9.1.
