Fur Farms Act, RSA 2000, c F-30

The Fur Farms Act regulates the operation of commercial fur farms in Alberta, including inspections, licensing, operation conditions, as well as providing for the health of fur bearing animals. In addition, the Act authorizes the killing of any dog that is terrifying the fur-bearing animals.
