Livestock Health Services Act, SNS 2001, c 8

The Livestock Health Services Act is generally supervised and managed by the Minister, who has the discretion to appoint a Livestock Health Services Board, and is required to appoint an Administrator to administer program of livestock health services.

The Act grants powers to the Administrator to enter into agreements with Veterinary Association of the Province of Nova Scotia to ensure adequate services are provided to eligible livestock owners.
