Livestock Industry Diversification Act, RSA 2000, c L-17

The Livestock Industry Diversification Act regulates the operation of domestic cervid production farms through the issuing and revocation of licences. Specifically, the Act regulates game animal purchase, import, possession, farm operations, slaughter and sale, as well as provides the powers of enforcement officers to ensure compliance with the Act.
