Notifiable and Communicable Diseases Regulations, PEI Reg EC330/85

The Notifiable and Communicable Diseases Regulations designate and categorize a number of prescribed diseases, providing for their regulation and control. Owners of animals suspected or known to be transmitters of a regulated disease, are required to comply with any direction from the Chief Health Officer or delegate to prevent the spread of the disease.

The enabling statute for these Regulations is the Public Health Act, RSPEI 1988, c P-30.
