The Wildlife Area Regulations prohibit unlicensed hunting, fishing, and other activities in designated wildlife areas and empowers the Ministry to distribute hunting permits. The regulations also prohibit activities that would “interfere with the conservation of wildlife” even if a hunter hunts with an appropriate license. In addition, the Regulations prescribe unique parcels of land as national wildlife areas.
